Talking Together: Achieving Our Goals

You sometimes propose ideas for making our road an even more pleasant place in which to live. Then someone disagrees. And nothing happens. We decided at the AGM to develop an online tool enabling us to pool ideas, think creatively about them,  maybe generate together an even better idea we could all get behind. Our new website uses a beta tool to gather your ideas about reducing crime, levelling pavements and ensuring all our trees thrive. To use it, you will need to request a password by sending an email to: mpr.ourvillage@gmail.com

Whenever someone has had their car stolen or house burgled, someone will suggest that we club together to hire a private security company to patrol our own, and surrounding, roads, Is this a good idea? If it is, how many people would be happy to pay for it? And how much would they be willing to pay. Or can we come up with a better approach? A way of reducing crime that contributes more to the quality of our lives? Read here. Join the deliberation here.
