There are several ways of finding the money we need for the things we want to do. We can apply for grants from Brent Council, and other places. We can secure sponsorship. Winkworth and Knight Frank helped pay for our annual Street Party in 2023 and 2024. We are talking to traders interested in making a regular contribution, in return for becoming our ‘Recognised Suppliers’. And we can pay towards things ourselves, as we did when buying trees. At this year’s Annual Village Meeting, it was agreed that we would invite people to set up standing orders. Here, James@44 describes our current thinking.
